As well our editorial team spends a lot of time on airplanes to bring you the stories of Asia. So we are always interested in finding out which airlines and which airports are the best. When you fly as much as we do it’s important to carefully pick which airline to fly.

This is part one of a two part series on the world’s best airlines and airports. We’ll start with what airline you should be flying.

Recently the website AirHelp published their 2018 report on the world’s best airlines. There are a lot of airline rankings out there but this one is a little different. It has an unique rating system.

AirHelp Score rates airlines and airports worldwide on the following key factors:

  • Quality of Service
  • Claims Processing
  • On-time Performance
  • Overall Social Media Sentiment
Choosing which airline to fly is important
These days there’s a big variance between the world’s best airlines and the world’s worst. Consumers will vote with their pocket books. There aren’t too many surprises on the list. Gulf carriers and Asian leaders like Singapore Airlines do well. Of course American carriers lag far behind their international competitors.
