Alone in Tokyo

For our fifth and final episode of our October Film Festival where we curate innovative videos of great Asian cities, we’re featuring a work by one of the most celebrated filmmakers and a pioneer in time lapse DSL photography Philip Bloom capturing a city he obviously loves Tokyo. And what’s not to love about Tokyo. It’s big, it’s bold but it is also intimate and nuanced.

The Filmmaker captures what makes Tokyo great; it’s people, the culture, the livability of the city, it’s organization and the sheer insanity of it all. We can’t think of a btter way to sum up this little series than with a salute to a great city by a great filmmaker.
