Asia’s World Leading Response To The Coronavirus Pandemic

Asia’s world leading response to the Coronavirus Pandemic is being noted in a new report from Deep Knowledge Group, a consortium of commercial and non-profit organizations based in Hong Kong which ranked the safest countries for COVID-19. While Switzerland currently is judged to be the most secure country, Asian Pacific countries dominated the Tier 1 of nations in terms of response to the crisis.

The comprehensive ranking draws from multiple data sources, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Johns Hopkins University, Worldometers and the United States’ Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Deep Knowledge Group’s new COVID-19 special analytical case study is designed to classify, analyze and rank the economic, social and health stability achieved by 200 regions, countries and territories, as well as the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats or risks that they present against the global health and economic crisis triggered by COVID-19.

The analysis utilizes a subset of 20 parameters from the full pool of 130 qualitative and quantitative parameters (grouped into 6 broad and top-level categories), in combination with certain qualitative characteristics, to group 200 regions and territories into 4 distinct Tiers, and then applies distinct subsets of those 130 parameters to rank the regions.

The safest countries for COVID-19 according to Deep Knowledge Group are the ones which took a non-political, science-based approach to disease treatment and economic re-opening. It’s interesting to note that currently the US, the world’s largest economy and considered the wealthiest nation, ranks 58th. On the opposite end of the ranking, Asia’s world leading response to the Coronavirus Pandemic is being celebrated.
