The New Tigers

Myanmar, Mongolia and Vietnam have an opportunity to change the economics of Asia. These are countries where savvy political decisions and increased foreign direct investment could profoundly revolutionize the way the continent does business. Natural resources, engaged populations and tremendous upside potential put these countries squarely on many companies’ radars for investment.

So as China moves into a more sustainable and predictable growth pattern and the mature economies of South Korea and Taiwan continue their path forward at more reserved level, the nations of ASEAN will emerge as the new engines of a continent. Hear them growl as these are the new tigers.
