With about half of the globe facing some form of lock down, quarantine or social distancing order, about three billion people right now are wondering what they’re going to have for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sheltering in place and trying to avoid markets or grocery stores has made mealtimes difficult for a lot of people. However staying healthy and eating well when you’re social distancing is incredibly important. So Chef Daniel Green has come up with a new web series shot in his own kitchen with common household ingredients, to show viewers how to make simple and healthy meals from around the world.
As Chef Green says, “I miss traveling, I miss the tastes of Asia, but you don’t have to. So I’ve created this new series to help people understand how to use the ingredients they probably already have to make simple, tasty dishes from around the world.” His first video is a recipe for egg fried rice with shrimp, a dish which is hearty and yet also very healthy.
