“Photography has the power to change people’s perceptions, to open eyes and minds, and even to inspire great things.” At least that’s the hope of one creative entrepreneur Randy VanDerStarren.
Mr. VanDerStarren is the passion behind Take Your Seat an innovative photographic project that wants to motivate people to follow their dreams. “How many times have you told yourself that you were going to do something one day. Take Your Seat’s goal is to help you turn one day into day one.”
The original Take Your Seat project features photography from 12 locations across the globe including South Korea, Thailand, Cuba and Iceland. Recently a country-specific version was launched as part of Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations. Take Your Seat Canada features 13 pictures from all of Canada’s provinces and territories.
For Mr. VanDerStarren Asia has always held a special place, especially Thailand which is a country he has traveled to many times. He says he has other variations of Take Your Seat in the works, so stay tuned as you may just see him in your hometown.
