This makes them grow faster and be more disease and pest resistant.

Biotechnology helps to create a better tree which in turn allows farmers to grow the trees with less risk and more confidence. The result is that they earn an income and plant a sustainable, renewable product. It’s a win-win.
The farmers have more income and the area’s environment improves.
