At the recent World Airline Awards held at Farnborough Airshow, Skytrax announced the world’s Top 100 Airlines in 2016, voted for by airline customers around the world. Skytrax World Airline Awards, described as “the Oscars of the aviation industry“, are most coveted Quality accolades for the world airline industry, and a global benchmark of airline excellence.
Again Asian and Gulf carriers dominated the awards. Of particular note 9 of the Top 10 ranked airlines were from Asia-Pacific or the Gulf, only Germany’s Lufthansa cracked the prestigious list at number 10.
