Big news for frequent flyers, Singapore Airlines is launching a new daily non-stop service between the Lion City and the US.
Starting on October 23rd Singapore Airlines will operate a daily non-stop flight between Singapore and San Francisco using their brand new Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The route will take over 16 hours and cover 13,600 kms. With this new flight the current Singapore-Seoul-San Francisco flight will be changed to become a Singapore-Seoul-Los Angeles service offering a second daily service to Los Angeles.
This route is made possible by Singapore Airlines’ new A350s. Singapore is the largest customer for the A350-900 to date with 67 firm orders for the base model and options on newer extended versions. These new Airbuses are designed to offer customers an improved travel experience with s higher ceilings, larger windows and an extra wide body and lightning designed to reduce jetlag.
The aircraft will be equipped with Singapore’s latest-generation cabin products including all-new Business, Premium Economy and Economy class seats, as well as the award winning KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system.
More connectivity between Asia and the US is always good and flying on the next generation planes is a bonus.
