Raffles Cambodia Unveils Exclusive Festive Season Celebrations

Two of Cambodia’s most iconic luxury hotels are set to offer an enchanting blend of tradition, elegance and joy this holiday season, with a host of exclusive meals, gala celebrations, special festive treats and much more.

Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh and Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor in Siem Reap invite guests to enjoy memorable moments together this Christmas and New Year’s season, as the landmark heritage hotels transform into a wonderland of holiday cheer.

The festive season officially kicks off with a much-anticipated annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor on Nov. 29, when a Nordmann fir tree imported from Norway will glow for the first time. The hotel will also be strewn with glittering lights, wreaths and other festive decor around the theme of the classic Nutcracker. Raffles is also working with two fashion designers to portray characters from The Nutcracker.

Christmas Eve

At Le Phnom 1929 at Raffles Hotel Le Royal, diners will be treated to a special “Christmas Eve on the Champs Elysés” festive dinner, featuring a grand Parisian Brasserie-style buffet with seafood towers, imported farmed cheese, artisan charcuterie and of course turkey. Signature French wines and festive cocktails will be free-flowing all night, while a live French band performs holiday songs. The special dinner is served on Dec. 24 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is priced at $120 per person, including unlimited French wine, festive cocktails and local beers. Add $30 for unlimited Champagne Charles Mignon.

The hotel’s 5-course Christmas Gueridon Dinner on Dec. 24 at Restaurant Le Royal will feature classics such as foie gras, smoked salmon, turkey and the signature Christmas Log. The Gueridon dinner is served from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is priced at $105 per person for food only (plus $45 for additional wine pairing).

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor will offer two special dinners on Christmas Eve, including a 4-course set menu at Cafe d’Angkor highlighting the finest seasonal delicacies from across the globe served up in a celebratory atmosphere ($70 per person). The hotel will also present a 7-course Christmas Eve Dinner at 1932 restaurant promising a fresh new gastronomic experience by Executive Sous Chef Doeurt. That meal is priced at $120 for food only ($180 with wine pairing).

Christmas Day

Raffles Hotel Le Royal will host two distinctive meals on Christmas Day, starting with a Royal Christmas Day Buffet Brunch at Restaurant Le Royal that includes a lavish spread of premium seafood, artisan cheeses and charcuteries, terrines and live carvery stations with Wagyu beef, turkey and lamb. The brunch is priced at $129 inclusive of unlimited French wines and festive cocktails (add $35 for unlimited Champagne Henriot Brut). Served from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a live Christmas kids choir.

The Parisian Brasserie Christmas Day Buffet Dinner will be served at Le Phnom 1929 and feature an oyster and seafood bar, roasted lamb, foie gras and much more, with signature French wines and festive cocktails. The Christmas buffet dinner will be served from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., priced at $120 per person (add $30 for unlimited Champagne Charles Mignon).

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor will present three dining options on Christmas Day, starting with a Festive Christmas Day Brunch that includes favorites such as honey-glazed ham, traditional roasted turkey, yule logs and delicious desserts. Priced at $120 per person for food only, with additional $40 for free-flow wine and cocktails or $60 for free-flow wine, cocktails and Champagne.

The luxury hotel in Siem Reap will also offer two extraordinary Christmas Day dinners, including a 4-course set menu at Cafe d’Angkor spotlighting the finest seasonal delicacies from across the globe served up in a celebratory atmosphere ($70 per person). The hotel will also present a 7-course Christmas Dinner at 1932 featuring an exciting gastronomic experience by Executive Sous Chef Doeurt.

New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day

Raffles Hotel Le Royal will offer a “Premium Oyster Night” on Dec. 31 at The Elephant Bar, with four different types of oysters along with signature sauces and condiments. The master “Ecailler” will shuck oysters while guests sip their favorite cocktails or Champagne and a resident DJ performs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The oysters are priced at $4 per piece, and a special deal on Henriot Champagne bottles includes “Buy 2, Get 1 Free.”

At Restaurant Le Royal, guests can enjoy an exquisite 5-course “New Year’s Eve Truffle Set Dinner” that includes a complimentary glass of Champagne for the countdown to 2025. Priced at $135 per person (add $30 for unlimited Champagne Charles Mignon).

Meanwhile, at Le Phnom 1929 and Apsara Terrace, guests can enjoy a festive evening with a live disco band along with a grand buffet featuring several BBQ stations and traditional seafood, foie gras and roasts. Priced at $120 per person inclusive of unlimited French wine, festive cocktails and local beer, from 7 p.m. until midnight.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor’s “Glitz and Glam New Year’s Eve Soirée” promises to be Siem Reap’s most exciting place to ring in 2025. The event features a spectacular lineup of dining experiences, countdown parties and sublime feasts, priced at $360 per person.

On New Year’s Day, guests are invited to start the new year off right at 1932 with an extraordinary 10-course festive brunch featuring a host of traditional favorites such as seafood tower, foie gras, Wagyu beef and much more. Priced at $90 per person.

Other Special Festive Season Treats

Raffles Hotel Le Royal will introduce a special Festive Afternoon Tea amid children singing Christmas carols in the hotel’s resplendent lobby. Guests are also invited to sip an exquisite Christmas Glühwein, a drink that truly epitomizes the spirit of the season. The tea is served on Dec. 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., priced from $22 (add $18 per glass of Champagne or $8 per glass of Glühwein).

The hotel’s Gingerbread House Workshop for Kids offers more festive fun. Priced at $28 per person (plus $22 for unlimited wine for parents), the workshop will be held on Dec. 7, 14 and 21 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Le Phnom 1929.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor will unveil its perennially popular Festive Afternoon Tea and Christmas Cocktails and Mulled Wine from Dec. 1, served in the hotel’s iconic Elephant Bar and in the Conservatory.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor will also present a special wine and gourmet canapé pairing to celebrate the debut of talented artist Jimmy Khong, whose captivating works are prominently displayed at Kravan. The “Return to Angkor” exhibition pays tribute to the artist’s Khmer heritage. Join the opening event on Dec. 13 for $20 per person. The exhibition, curated by Tribe Gallery, will be on display in the hotel from Dec. 13 to Jan. 15.

The will also host the Children’s Choir of Siem Reap for classic Christmas carols in the elegant lobby of Siem Reap’s La Grande Dame for a jolly afternoon.

Raffles Hotel Le Royal invites guests to pamper themselves this holiday season with a relaxing Le Royal Signature Khmer Massage. The 90-minute treatment also includes a complimentary festive cocktail, while second bookings will receive a 30% discount. Priced at $95 per person, the offer is valid until Dec. 31.

At Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, spa-goers can rejuvenate with a combined session of exfoliation and massage for a top-to-toe experience. This all-natural treatment begins with a 30-minute coconut scrub that buffs away dull skin, followed by a 60-minute massage to easy stress and aches. The treatment, available from Dec. 1, is priced at $100 net.
